Beauty salons don't have medical guidance, they don't have dermatologists who practice like in a skin care clinic, and they're not as relaxing as a spa. They may claim to offer certain types of treatments, but the offers vary widely. Although some of the services provided by these establishments may be similar, salons and spas vary in terms of the duration of treatments and procedures, accommodation and the most important one-off services provided. Basically, the difference between medical aesthetics and common salon treatments is that in medical centers the treatments, technology and machinery are more advanced, more powerful and, therefore, more effective than what most beauty salons offer.
